In this video a daily trip is transformed to a performance video as moving images become referential element rhythm, repetition, duration, forms and discontinuity. These combined create the potentials for viewers to experience the work with their memory and body actively participating. This experience of time is an alternative experience of space from different perspectives. It is an attempt to established a choreographic video. To achieve this I used, instead of human bodies, three separate videos performing simultaneously. The title is referenced to René Magritte’s work “This is a pipe”. Here it is expressed on the opposite way by using NOT in the intention to create a statement of watching not the obvious pictures of the specific city but through the experience of the presented rhythmic moving images. It is an encouragement to focus on the experience of the choreography and not on the information that they obviously give.
